Abstract text

Since November 2023, the AWE (Atmospheric Waves Experiment) instrument has been capturing images of airglow structures in the mesopause. By examining these images, the authors have identified a variety of different gravity wave forms. This poster discusses the different varieties of gravity waves that have been observed by AWE, and also contains analysis into the geographic coordinates and frequencies of the gravity wave varieties.
