Abstract text

Aircraft are ideal calibration targets for SuperDARN radars: they are numerous, effectively point sources, and their positions are catalogued by independent organizations. This work identifies airplanes in SuperDARN data, generates complex gain calibrations from these measurements, and analyzes the impact of the calibration.
