Infectious Illness

What to do if you become ill at the workshop

If you happen to fall ill at any time during the in-person meeting, due to any illness that could spread through social interactions (not just covid-19), it is your responsibility to exercise sound judgment and be mindful of your peers and colleagues (especially those who are marginalized, have health concerns, or care for dependents).  Appropriate actions include isolating yourself while infectious, informing others whose health may now be known to be compromised, and participating virtually if you are not too fatigued.

Masks, hand sanitizer, and covid-19 tests are optional at this event, but will be available at the registration desk if needed.

Please visit https://hhs.iowa.gov/immunization/covid-19 for current Iowa orders and updated information on covid19 related information.  Please remember that state and governmental orders provide a minimum standard, and responsible behavior may require measures that exceed these standards.

Please do your part to keep the CEDAR community safe for all! CEDAR is a space for all, and simple actions/steps can keep it that way.
