2019 Workshop: CEDAR and Decadal Survey
The atmosphere-ionosphere-magnetosphere interactions (AIMI) subcommittee of the 2013 Decadal Survey put forth recommendations strongly related to CEDAR science. At this time, a National Academies mid-term review on progress made on Decadal Survey recommendations is underway. The conveners of this workshop are on this review panel and seek input and open discussion regarding the community's view of progress and plans provided in the Survey. Several Survey recommendations are under review and two future missions (DYNAMIC and GDC) are relevant to CEDAR.
This workshop addresses a time-critical mid-term review of the 2013 Heliophysics Decadal Survey. Several important elements in the Decadal Survey require input from the CEDAR community on progress made to-date and future developments for the 2023 Decadal Survey.
